Heartstrings Pet Hospice, In-Home Euthanasia & Aftercare is seeking compassionate DVMs to provide in-home hospice, palliative care, and euthanasia services across the Pennsylvania service area. This doctor-led practice emphasizes autonomy, client relationships, and thoughtful end-of-life care in the home.

Formación

• DVM or equivalent degree required or imminent.
• Active veterinary license in state(s) where services will be provided.
• Must be able to travel to homes and work autonomously in a mobile setting.

Responsabilidades

• Provide in-home hospice, palliative care, quality-of-life support, and euthanasia services.
• Travel to scheduled appointments and operate in a mobile care environment outside a clinic.
• Conduct exams, administer medications, sedation, euthanasia, and related services within regulatory guidelines.
• Guide families through end-of-life decisions with empathy and professional communication.
• Maintain accurate medical records for each patient encounter.
• Collaborate with Heartstrings team and referring veterinarians.
• Safely handle and assist with movement of pets during visits.
