Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarians to serve pet families across Pennsylvania. Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
• Active veterinary license in state(s) where services are provided or eligibility to obtain one.
• Willingness to travel to homes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical requirements in home settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice, palliative care, quality-of-life support, and euthanasia services.
• Travel independently to scheduled home visits.
• Perform exams, assessments, medication administration, euthanasia, and documentation.
• Educate families on end-of-life options with empathy and clarity.
• Maintain accurate medical records for each encounter.
• Communicate professionally with families, Heartstrings team, and referring veterinarians.
• Support movement and handling of companion animals during visits.
