Job summary

Virtua Health's Hospice Registered Nurse travels statewide to bring hospice care into patients' homes in Marlton, New Jersey. You will assess, plan and implement treatment plans to comfort terminally ill patients, monitor symptoms, administer medications and support families through this transition.

As a key member of the interdisciplinary team, you will coordinate care, educate families, manage pain, document care accurately, and participate in on-call and weekend coverage while upholding HIPAA

Qualifications

• 2–3 years hospice nursing experience; home care preferred.
• Knowledge of physical, psychosocial, spiritual needs of terminally ill patients and caregivers.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; RN license in NJ; CPR/BLS.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care at home.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
• Educate patients and families; coordinate with interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in on-call coverage and weekend/holiday shifts.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation.
