Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Home and Community-Based Services Aide to support individuals in their own homes in Danville, PA. This role emphasizes compassionate personal care, daily living assistance, and careful health monitoring to enable clients to remain independent at home.

You will assist with activities of daily living, document outcomes, and help coordinate transportation or appointments, all while maintaining safety and privacy, with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license and reliable transportation.
• 6+ months of home care experience.
• CPR certification preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
