Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's Conemaugh Home Health (part of LHC Group) seeks a Home Health Aide or CNA to deliver in-home personal care and health-related services, helping patients maintain their physical and emotional well-being.

You will join a team dedicated to compassionate care, performing daily living assistance, grooming, and mobility tasks while reporting observations to supervisors and adhering to PA-specific training requirements. Benefits and development opportunities included.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
• PA: Required to have completed a minimum of 60 hours of classroom instruction prior to or during the first 3 months of employment.
• Preferred: CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• 6+ months of home care experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home personal care and designated health-related services to maintain the patient’s physical and emotional well-being.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, hair care, denture care, nail care, and mobility transfers.
• Report observations of the client’s condition to the agency director or accounts manager.
• Drive safely and comply with traffic regulations during business travel.
• Assist with household tasks essential to clients’ personal care.
• Ensure care delivery is respectful regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
