Job summary

HomeTown Services seeks a Comfort Advisor – Generator Sales to guide customers through standby and portable generator options for residential and light commercial needs. You will assess power requirements, explain equipment choices, and develop site layouts and proposals to facilitate seamless installation and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of generator sales, service, or related electrical field.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and single-line drawings.
• Experience producing site layout drawings or CAD-assisted plans preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct warm in-home and on-site consultations to assess power needs and generator placement.
• Perform load calculations and develop site-specific proposals with CAD drawings or layouts.
• Sell residential and light commercial standby systems and portable generators.
• Sell ATS, load management modules, and maintenance/service packages.
• Build estimates in ServiceTitan and present Good/Better/Best options; secure signatures and payments.
