Job summary

Floor Coverings International is seeking an In-Home Sales Flooring and Design Associate in New Jersey to engage clients in their homes, discuss flooring projects, and guide them through our sales process using a tablet, laptop, and specialized software. You will be the primary contact for inquiries and coordinate installation with the office team.

Qualifications

3-5+ years of in-home and/or outside sales.
Strong drive to exceed sales targets.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Competitive mindset and desire to succeed in a sales role.
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Demonstrates integrity and honesty in all dealings.
Tech-literate and self-motivated.
Confident public speaking with clients.
Flooring, construction, or design knowledge is a plus.
Ambition to join our family and achieve six-figure income.
Sense of urgency in completing tasks and meeting deadlines.
Willingness to accommodate homeowner appointments in evenings/weekends.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Visit clients in their homes to discuss flooring projects.
Operate the sales system with tablet, laptop, and software.
Serve as the primary point of contact for flooring service inquiries.
Coordinate installation schedules and communications with the Office Manager.
Ensure customer needs and expectations are met, coordinating with Install Manager for smooth execution.
Develop lasting relationships and referral sources for ongoing business growth.
