Job summary

Youth Villages is seeking a PRN Community-Based Specialist to provide in-home, family‑centered services across Indiana. You will conduct weekly youth and family sessions, perform assessments, and collaborate with courts and other providers.

The role requires flexibility, travel to families’ homes, and strong documentation in an EMR system. The position offers a driver’s license, vehicle, and mileage reimbursement, with a focus on building skills, reducing crises, and supporting permanency for

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (preferred) in social services or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree (required) in a social services discipline such as social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.
• Experience with at‑risk youth and/or families is preferred.
• Clinical experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Holds individual and family sessions weekly with youth/family.
• Performs ongoing youth assessments from a strength-based perspective.
• Attends weekly meetings for development and booster trainings.
• Travels up to 60–80 miles to meet families in their homes/communities.
• Provides on-call crisis support to youth and family.
• Completes accurate documentation in an EMR system.
• Supports a collaborative treatment plan with other providers and courts.
