Job summary

Youth Villages, Inc. is seeking a PRN Community-Based Specialist to deliver Intercept® in-home services, aiding families to stay together and avoid out-of-home placements. The role emphasizes strength-based, family-centered interventions conducted in the home and community.

Responsibilities include weekly sessions, ongoing youth assessments, and collaboration with courts and other providers. A valid driver's license and mileage reimbursement accompany a flexible schedule in Indiana.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social services is required.
• Master's degree in social services is preferred.
• Experience with at-risk youth and/or families is desirable.
• Strong writing, speaking, and listening skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry a small caseload as assigned by supervisor.
• Holds individual and family sessions weekly.
• Conducts ongoing assessments from a strength-focused perspective.
• Attends regular meetings for professional development.
• Travel up to 60–80 miles to meet families at home or in the community.
• Collaborates with providers, case workers, and courts to plan treatment.
• Provides on-call crisis support as needed.
• Documents in an EMR system.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
