Zusammenfassung

Youth Villages, Inc. is seeking a PRN Community-Based Counselor to support in-home interventions and preventative family services.

You will conduct family sessions, assess youth needs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a social services discipline and a valid driver’s license, with travel up to 60–80 miles to meet families in their homes and communities.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a social services discipline or related field.
• Master's degree preferred for advancement.
• Experience with at-risk youth and families is beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Carries a small caseload as assigned by supervision on an as-needed basis.
• Holds individual and family sessions with each family 3 times a week.
• Conducts ongoing assessment of youth to determine needs from a strength-focused approach.
• Attends weekly meetings for professional development and clinical consultation.
• Drives up to 60–80 miles to meet with families in their homes and communities.
• Collaborates with providers, case workers, and courts to plan treatment.
• Provides on-call crisis support as needed and documents in EMR.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
