Job summary

Youth Villages in Evansville, IN, seeks a PRN Community-Based Specialist to deliver in-home family support services. You will conduct weekly sessions, assess youth needs, and coordinate with families, schools, courts, and other providers to promote stability and growth.

Required is a Bachelor's in a social services field; a Master’s is preferred. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 60–80 miles are essential. Mileage reimbursement and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a social services discipline preferred
• Bachelor's degree in a social services discipline required
• Experience with at-risk youth and families preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and flexible schedule

Responsibilities

• Carries a small caseload as assigned by supervisor
• Holds weekly individual and family sessions with youth/family
• Performs ongoing assessment of youth needs from a strength-based perspective
• Attends three weekly meetings for professional development
• Drives up to 60–80 miles to meet families in their homes
• Collaborates with other providers, case workers, and courts to plan treatment
• Provides on-call crisis support as needed
• Documents accurately in an EMR system
• Performs other duties as assigned
