Job summary

Youth Villages is seeking a Family Intervention Specialist to deliver in-home, strength-based mental health services for youth and families in Indiana. The role requires building collaborative treatment plans and frequent family sessions to support reunification and stability.

You will travel to families’ homes, document progress, and participate in ongoing professional development activities while maintaining flexibility in scheduling based on family needs.

Qualifications

• Required bachelor’s degree in a social services discipline.
• Master’s degree preferred; degrees may include social work, psychology, counseling or related fields.
• Experience with at-risk youth and families is preferred; clinical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carriers a caseload of 4 to 6 families.
• Conducts individual and family sessions 3 times weekly.
• Assesses youth needs from a strength-based perspective.
• Attends weekly meetings for professional development and trainings.
• Drives up to 60–80 miles to meet families in homes and communities.
• Collaborates with providers, case workers, and courts on treatment plans.
• Provides on-call crisis support and documents in EMR system.
