Job summary

Youth Villages invites applications for a Family Intervention Specialist to deliver in-home, strength-based services to youth and families. You will carry a caseload, conduct regular sessions, and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support treatment goals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a social services field (Master’s preferred) and experience with at-risk youth. A flexible schedule and reliable travel are expected as you serve families across communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a social services discipline required.
• Master’s degree in a social services discipline preferred.
• Experience with at-risk youth and families preferred.
• Clinical experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of 4 to 6 families.
• Hold individual and family sessions 3 times per week.
• Assess youth needs from a strength-based perspective.
• Attend 3 weekly meetings for professional development.
• Drive up to 60–80 miles to meet families at home or in the community.
• Collaborate with providers, case workers, and courts on treatment plans.
• Provide on-call crisis support.
• Complete accurate documentation in the EMR.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
