Job summary

Youth Villages is seeking a Family Intervention Specialist to support at‑risk youth and their families in a home-based setting. You will conduct regular family sessions, assess needs, and coordinate with schools, courts, and providers to create collaborative treatment plans.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a social services field (Master’s preferred), strong organizational skills, and the ability to travel within communities. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a social services discipline preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in social services required or equivalent.
• Experience with at-risk youth and families preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and oral communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a caseload of 4 to 6 families.
• Conducts 3 weekly individual and family sessions.
• Performs ongoing assessments from a strength-based perspective.
• Attends weekly meetings for professional development.
• Travels to meet families in their homes and communities.
• Collaborates with providers, case workers, and courts on treatment plans.
• Provides on-call crisis support as needed.
• Documents accurately in electronic medical records.
