Job summary

Youth Villages is seeking a Family Intervention Specialist to provide in-home, strength-based support through the Intercept program. You will work with youth and families in their homes and communities, delivering weekly family sessions and ongoing assessment to promote permanency and well-being.

The role requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s in a social services field, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to travel up to miles to meet families.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a social services discipline preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a social services discipline required.
• Experience with at-risk youth and families preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Holds 3 weekly family sessions with each family.
• Manages a caseload of 4–6 families.
• Attends weekly professional development and clinical meetings.
• Provides on-call crisis support to youth and family.
• Performs accurate documentation in an EMR system.
