Youth Villages seeks a Family Intervention Specialist to deliver evidence-based in-home services, maintaining a caseload of 4–6 families and conducting frequent sessions to build strength-based plans with youth and families.

The role requires travel to homes, collaboration with courts and other providers, and documentation in EMR. Bachelor’s degree in a social services field is required; Master’s preferred; strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a social services discipline (required)
• Master’s degree in a social services discipline (preferred)
• Degrees may include social work, counseling, psychology, or related fields
• Experience with at-risk youth and families (preferred)
• Clinical experience (preferred)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written, verbal, and oral skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and a flexible schedule

Responsibilities

• Carries a caseload of 4 to 6 families
• Holds individual and family sessions with each family 3 times a week
• Conducts ongoing assessment of youth to determine needs
• Attends weekly meetings for professional development and trainings
• Drives up to 60–80 miles to meet families at home or in communities
• Collaborates with providers, case workers, and courts to plan treatment
• Provides on-call crisis support; completes EMR documentation
• Performs other duties as assigned
