Job summary

Youth Villages is seeking a dedicated Family Intervention Specialist to deliver the Intercept program in home settings, serving youth and families with priority on prevention and reunification. You will work within a dynamic team and adapt to family needs and schedules.

The role requires commuting within designated counties, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple cases while documenting care in an EMR system. Relocation assistance is available if needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a social services discipline is required.
• Master's degree in a social services discipline is preferred.
• Experience working with at-risk youth and/or families is preferred.
• Clinical experience is preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, and oral skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a flexible schedule.
• Basic computer knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload of 4 to 6 families.
• Hold individual and family sessions with each family 3 times a week, scheduled at the families' convenience.
• Conduct ongoing assessment of youth to determine needs from a strength-focused, solution-based perspective.
• Attend 3 weekly meetings for professional development and booster trainings.
• Travel up to 60 to 80 miles to meet families in their homes and communities.
• Collaborate with other providers, case workers, and courts to formulate a collaborative treatment plan.
• Provide on-call crisis support to the youth and family (schedules vary by location).
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in an EMR system.
