Job summary

Youth Villages is seeking a Family Intervention Specialist to provide intensive, in-home support for families with youth facing emotional and behavioral challenges. You will conduct individual and family sessions, assess needs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to keep families together and reduce out-of-home placements.

Travel to family homes is required, with flexible scheduling based on family availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a clinical field.
• Two years of full-time clinical experience (4,000 hours).
• Master’s Degree in a clinical field.
• One year of full-time clinical experience (2,000 hours) with designated population.
• Hold one NC clinical license: LCMHC-A, LMFT-A, LCSW-A, or LCAS-A.

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload of 4–6 families and conduct sessions.
• Meet families in homes/communities; travel up to 60–80 miles as needed.
• Perform ongoing youth assessments from a strength-based perspective.
• Document accurately in the EMR; participate in meetings and trainings.
• Collaborate with providers, case workers, and courts on treatment plans.
