Job summary

Youth Villages in Kentucky seeks a Family Intervention Specialist to deliver evidence-based, in-home services aimed at keeping families together and preventing out-of-home placements. This role emphasizes collaboration with families, schools, courts, and providers.

You will manage 4–6 families, lead sessions 3 times weekly, document in an EMR, and travel to families in home and community settings. A BA in social services is required; driver's license and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social services or related field required; Master’s preferred.
• Experience with at-risk youth and families preferred.
• Clinical experience and licensure supervision are advantageous.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload of 4–6 families and conduct sessions with each family 3 times per week.
• Perform ongoing youth assessments from a strength-based perspective.
• Attend regular meetings for professional development and booster trainings.
• Travel to meet families in their homes and communities (up to 60–80 miles).
• Collaborate with providers, case workers, and courts to plan treatment.
• Maintain accurate documentation in an EMR system and complete duties as assigned.
