Job summary

Youth Villages is seeking a Family Intervention Specialist to deliver in-home, evidence-based services designed to keep families together and prevent out-of-home placements. You will work directly with youth and families, conducting sessions, assessments, and collaborative planning in home and community settings.

Responsibilities include travel to family locations, coordination with courts and other providers, documentation in an EMR, and participation in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a social services discipline is required
• Master’s degree (preferred) in social services or related field is preferred
• Experience working with at-risk youth and families is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Cares for a caseload of 4–6 families.
• Conducts weekly individual and family sessions (3 per week).
• Performs ongoing youth assessments from a strength-based perspective.
• Participates in weekly professional development meetings and trainings.
• Travels up to 60–80 miles to meet families at home or community settings.
• Collaborates with providers, case workers, and courts on treatment plans.
• Provides on-call crisis support as needed.
• Documents accurately in an EMR system.
