Job summary

Youth Villages is seeking a PRN Community-Based Counselor to support youth and families in Fort Smith, Arkansas. You will conduct individual and family sessions, travel to homes, and collaborate with schools, courts, and other providers to implement an evidence-based in-home program.

You’ll perform ongoing assessments, document in an EMR, provide crisis support as needed, and participate in professional development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a social services discipline preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a social services discipline required.
• Experience working with at-risk youth and families preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Carries a small case load and conducts individual and family sessions weekly.
• Travels up to 60–80 miles to meet families in homes and communities.
• Collaborates with providers, case workers, and courts to plan treatment.
• Provides on-call crisis support and maintains EMR documentation.
