Job summary

Stratus is seeking an EEG Set-Up Technician to perform in-home diagnostic EEG testing across patient residences in the Jacksonville, FL area. This role requires setting up EEG equipment and ensuring safe, accurate readings while educating patients and maintaining HIPAA-compliant data handling.

The ideal candidate will travel extensively, be proficient with Microsoft Office, and possess strong communication skills to interact with patients and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Registered EEG Tech credentialing by ABRET and/or Joint Commission experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform EEG testing on patients in their homes.
• Ensure proper, accurate placement of electrodes while minimizing skin breakdown.
• Educate patients on the EEG process and reassure them.
• Set up EEG equipment and cameras to ensure safety and accuracy of readings.
• Upload completed studies promptly and verify patient information at disconnect.
