Stratus Team, LLC is seeking an EEG Setup Technician to perform in-home diagnostic EEG testing, place electrodes accurately, educate patients, and ensure safe setup of EEG equipment and cameras. You may also assist with EKG testing and ensure proper disconnect and disinfection after each study.

The role requires extensive travel, strong interpersonal skills, and strict adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and safety standards, with opportunities for growth within the EEG tech career path.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Registered EEG Tech credentialing by the BRNT/ABRET and/or Joint Commission is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Perform EEG testing on patients in their home and ensure proper electrode placement.
• Travel to multiple locations, up to 95% travel, including out of state.
• Interact with patients and families to put them at ease.
• Set up EEG equipment and cameras to ensure safety and reading accuracy.
• Set up EKG testing if ordered; educate the patient on device use.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and data accuracy.
• Inventory management and ensure studies are uploaded promptly.
• Adhere to OSHA and Bloodborne Pathogen standards.
• Disconnect equipment safely and disinfect between visits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
