Job summary

Stratus is seeking an EEG Setup Technician to perform in-home diagnostic testing and ensure accurate electrode placement while educating patients on procedures. The role travels to patient homes, sets up EEG equipment and cameras, and ensures safety and data integrity throughout each study.

The technician will also assist with EKG setups if ordered, maintain HIPAA compliance, and manage equipment cleaning, disinfection, and storage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Registered EEG Tech credentialing by ABRET and/or Joint Commission experience a plus.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform EEG testing on patients in their home.
• Ensure proper electrode placement and minimize skin breakdown.
• Interact with patients and families to put them at ease.
• Set up EEG equipment and cameras to ensure patient safety and readings accuracy.
• If applicable, set up and educate on EKG testing and event button usage.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and proper data/documentation for each study.
• Inventory management and prompt upload of completed studies.
