Job summary

Abound Health is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide in-home support for an individual living independently in her apartment in Mercer, PA.

You will assist with daily living, personal care, transfers, and companionship, promoting comfort, dignity and independence while building meaningful relationships with the person and family. Paid training, weekly pay, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Willingness to provide hands-on personal care.
• Paid onboarding and training provided.
• No prior disability care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Build a positive and supportive relationship with the individual.
• Assist with transfers and positioning.
• Assist with ADLs including personal care and hygiene.
• Support health, comfort, and safety throughout each shift.
• Provide companionship and engage in preferred activities.
