Job summary

Abound Health is hiring compassionate Group Home Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist residents with IDD in Mercer County group homes in West Middlesex and Sharpsville, PA. Full Time and Part Time positions with flexible hours are available.

As a DSP you will support individuals to live safely and with dignity, follow treatment plans, document progress, provide companionship and supervision, and participate in ongoing training. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year caregiving experience preferred, not required
• Background checks must be passed
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Support behavioral, social, and daily living skill development
• Assist with recreational and community activities
• Follow treatment plans and document progress
• Provide companionship and supervision
• Submit documentation and payroll on time
• Participate in ongoing training
• Assist with personal care needs as required
• Work independently and as part of a team within the group home environment
