Job summary

Abound Health is seeking a compassionate Home-Based Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support a woman living independently in her own apartment in Sellersville, PA. This part-time role offers growth into full-time hours while helping with daily living skills and community-based routines.

You will provide one-on-one support in her home and community, teaching independence and maintaining a safe, supportive environment for ongoing development.

Qualifications

• One year of caregiving experience preferred (training provided).
• Valid driver’s license and active car insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• At least 18 years old.
• Comfortable supporting personal-care and behavioral-support needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support in home and community.
• Support daily living skill development.
• Assist with laundry at the laundromat.
• Teach folding, organizing, and clothing care.
• Support cooking and meal preparation.
• Assist with home cleaning and organization.
• Encourage independence and confidence in routines.
• Follow support plans and document progress.
• Provide companionship and community engagement.
