Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. seeks a Design Studio Specialist who inspires customers and closes sales at the cash wrap. You will translate design expertise into in-store and in-home consultations, creating customized plans that reflect clients’ styles and spaces.

You will maintain knowledge of promotions, deliver world-class service, and assist with gift services and orders. This role requires full-time availability, including weekends, and the ability to lift items as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in design-focused sales or retail design environments.
• Strong communication and clienteling skills.
• Ability to measure spaces accurately and translate into design plans.

Responsibilities

• Use design expertise to assist clients in one-on-one consultations in-store and in-home.
• Perform in-home consultations including measuring and assessing living spaces.
• Create and present design plans based on client needs, style and space.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to meet sales and productivity goals.
• Assist customers with services including gift wrap, registry, catalog/internet orders, special orders and furniture orders.
• Demonstrate product knowledge of the design studio assortment.
