Job summary

Closet Factory, Inc. is seeking an In-Home Sales Designer to meet with homeowners in their residences, understand space needs and budget, and develop customized, attractive storage solutions.

You will guide clients from initial concept through installation, combining sales acumen with design skills and a customer-focused approach. You will evaluate spaces, propose finishes and hardware, present proposals, and coordinate with manufacturing and installation teams to deliver completed projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales and/or customer service experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to guide clients through a purchasing decision and ask for the sale
• Excellent listening and presentation abilities

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners to understand needs, priorities, style, and budget
• Evaluate and accurately measure space
• Create customized designs tailored to each client and their home
• Present designs and recommendations with proposals and pricing
• Coordinate with internal teams through manufacturing and installation
• Maintain strong communication with clients throughout projects
• Develop referrals and your own sources of new business
