Job summary

Closet Factory is seeking an In-Home Sales Designer to meet with homeowners, understand their needs, and deliver customized designs from consultation through installation. No prior interior design experience needed as comprehensive training is provided.

You will guide clients through the purchasing process, coordinate with manufacturing and installation teams, and build a pipeline of referrals. This is a commission-based role with strong earning potential and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales and/or customer service experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong listening and presentation skills.
• Confidence to guide clients through a purchasing decision and ask for the sale.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
• Comfort using computers and learning new software.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners to understand needs, priorities, style, and budget.
• Evaluate and accurately measure spaces.
• Create customized designs tailored to each client and home.
• Present designs and recommendations; prepare proposals and pricing.
• Guide clients through decision-making and close sales.
• Coordinate with internal teams through manufacturing and installation.
• Maintain communication with clients throughout projects.
• Develop referrals and new business sources.
