Closet Factory is seeking a motivated Sales & Design Consultant to build relationships with clients, guide homeowners through a consultative sales process from appointment to signed project, and create custom storage solutions for homes.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem solving, and a client-first approach, with the potential for commission-based earnings and performance-based incentives.

Qualifications

• Prior sales experience in in-home consultative sales environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage follow-up, appointments, and multiple opportunities.
• Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset and commission potential.
• Eye for space, layout, organization, and design.
• Comfortable learning design software, product details, and pricing tools.
• Professional appearance and reliable transportation.
• Willing to work some evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Meet with prospective clients in their homes to understand needs, goals, budget and priorities.
• Build trust through listening, professionalism, and product knowledge.
• Create custom storage solutions for closets, garages, offices, pantries, wall beds, and more.
• Present design concepts, materials, pricing, and recommendations clearly.
• Guide clients through decision-making and close sales.
• Follow up with leads, quotes, and open opportunities.
• Manage sales pipeline and keep client notes and project info up to date.
• Collaborate with internal teams to hand off from sale to production and installation.
• Represent Closet Factory with professionalism and client-first mindset.
