Job summary

Family Life Care, Inc. is seeking dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) to provide compassionate in-home care across Florida communities.

You will assist with ADLs, meals, mobility, and cognitive engagement while following individualized care plans. A Florida CNA license or 75-hour HHA certification, CPR, and reliable transportation are required; prior home health experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Current Florida CNA license or 75-hour Home Health Aide Certificate approved by the State of Florida.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Driver's License with vehicle insurance.
• TB test with negative results.
• Ability to pass a Level II background check.
• Florida AHCA Education & Awareness requirements.
• Previous home health care experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong observational skills for patient monitoring.
• Able to perform meal prep, laundry and light cleaning.
• Compassionate demeanor with excellent communication.
• Reliable, punctual and able to follow care plans.
• Working smartphone required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Prepare meals and ensure nutritious options tailored to dietary needs.
• Observe patients to monitor health status and report concerns to healthcare providers.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities for mental and emotional well-being.
• Maintain cleanliness in the client’s home through light housekeeping tasks.
• Provide memory care support for clients with cognitive impairments, ensuring safety and engagement.
