Job summary

MaineTouch is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home support and personal care services to adults and seniors. CNAs support clients in their homes by assisting with daily care needs while promoting comfort, safety, and independence.

This role emphasizes one-on-one care, independence, and flexible scheduling with ongoing support from a responsive care team. Opportunities for advancement and mileage reimbursement are available.

Qualifications

• Active Maine CNA license is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation preferred.
• Access to a working cell phone.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting and hygiene.
• Provide mobility assistance including transfers and safe use of assistive devices.
• Measure and document vital signs and basic health observations as directed.
• Support daily care tasks such as light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Assist with meal service and feeding when needed.
• Offer companionship and emotional support while encouraging independence.
• Report changes and concerns promptly to nursing or supervisory staff.
• Maintain infection control, safety procedures and HIPAA compliance.
