Job summary

MaineTouch is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home support and personal care to adults and seniors. CNAs assist with daily care in clients' homes, promoting comfort, safety, and independence.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Active Maine CNA license (required)
• Must not appear on the Maine CNA/Direct Care Worker Registry with substantiated findings
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and daily care tasks
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Access to a working cell phone
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred (assignment dependent)
• Must be eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Provide mobility assistance and safe use of assistive devices
• Measure and document vital signs and health observations
• Support daily care tasks (light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep)
• Assist with meal service and feeding as needed
• Offer companionship and support while promoting independence
• Monitor client condition and report concerns promptly
• Identify and report safety risks or environmental concerns
• Perform tasks within CNA scope of practice
• Complete required documentation accurately and on schedule
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
• Respond to emergencies and report incidents
• Maintain professionalism and dependable attendance
• Comply with MaineTouch policies and training
