Job summary

MaineTouch is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home support and personal care services to adults and seniors. CNAs help clients in their homes with daily care needs to promote comfort, safety, and independence.

This role emphasizes one-on-one care, independent work in home settings, and flexible scheduling with a supportive care team to back you up. Opportunities for advancement and ongoing clinical support are available.

Qualifications

• Active Maine CNA license required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs (bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, hygiene).
• Provide mobility assistance and safe transfers.
• Measure and document vital signs and health observations.
• Support daily care tasks and meal preparation.
• Assist with meal service and feeding when needed.
• Offer companionship and emotional support while promoting independence.
• Monitor for changes in condition and report concerns promptly.
• Report safety risks or environmental concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
