Job summary

MaineTouch is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home care and personal assistance to adults and seniors. CNAs support clients in their homes, promoting comfort, safety, and independence.

This role emphasizes one-on-one care, independence, and flexible scheduling with support from a responsive care team. Opportunities for advancement and ongoing clinical guidance are available, with mileage reimbursement where applicable.

Qualifications

• Active Maine CNA license required
• 18 years or older
• Ability to work independently in home settings
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred (assignment dependent)
• Must be eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene)
• Provide mobility assistance and safe use of devices
• Measure and document vital signs and health observations
• Support daily care tasks including light housekeeping and meals
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Monitor clients and report concerns to nursing/supervisory staff
• Maintain infection control, safety procedures, and HIPAA compliance
• Complete required documentation accurately and on schedule
