Job summary

MaineTouch is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home support and personal care services to adults and seniors. CNAs work one-on-one with clients in their homes, promoting comfort, safety, and independence.

The role offers flexible scheduling (full-time/Part-time, day/evening/overnight when available) with ongoing clinical and supervisory support, and opportunities for advancement within the organization.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Active Maine CNA license required.
• Cannot appear on the Maine CNA/Direct Care Worker Registry with substantiated findings.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and daily care tasks.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene).
• Provide mobility assistance and safe use of devices.
• Measure and document vital signs and basic health observations.
• Help with meals, light housekeeping, laundry, and daily tasks.
• Offer companionship and support client independence.
• Report changes in condition to nursing/supervisory staff.
• Maintain infection control, safety and HIPAA compliance.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on schedule.
