Job summary

MaineTouch is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home support and personal care to adults and seniors. CNAs assist with daily care while promoting comfort, safety, and independence, in clients' homes with a supportive care team.

We offer flexible scheduling (FT/PT), opportunities for advancement, mileage reimbursement where applicable, and ongoing clinical and supervisory guidance. The role emphasizes one-on-one caregiving and compassionate, professional service.

Qualifications

• Must have active Maine CNA license
• Must be 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Access to a working cell phone
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and daily care tasks

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care needs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Provide mobility assistance and transfers
• Measure and document vital signs and health observations
• Support daily care tasks (light housekeeping, laundry, bed linen changes)
• Assist with meal service and feeding when needed
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Monitor client condition and report concerns promptly
• Follow infection control and HIPAA compliance
