MaineTouch is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home support and personal care to adults and seniors. CNAs help clients in their homes with daily care, promoting comfort, safety, and independence.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active Maine CNA license required.
• Physically able to assist with mobility and daily care tasks.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, and hygiene.
• Provide mobility assistance, including transfers, ambulation, and use of assistive devices.
• Measure and document vital signs and basic health observations as directed.
• Support daily care tasks such as light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Assist with meal service and feeding when needed.
• Offer companionship and emotional support while encouraging client independence.
• Monitor client condition and report concerns promptly to nursing or supervisory staff.
• Identify and report safety risks or environmental concerns.
• Perform only tasks within CNA scope and care plan, complete documentation on schedule.
• Follow infection control, safety procedures, and HIPAA compliance.
