Job summary

MaineTouch is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home support and personal care services to adults and seniors. CNAs support clients in their homes by assisting with daily care needs while promoting comfort, safety, and independence.

This role is well-suited for CNAs who value one-on-one care, enjoy working independently, and want flexible scheduling with support from a responsive care team.

Qualifications

• Active Maine CNA license is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Not listed on the Maine CNA/Direct Care Worker Registry with substantiated findings.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, and hygiene.
• Providing mobility assistance, including transfers, ambulation, and safe use of assistive devices.
• Measuring and documenting vital signs and basic health observations.
• Supporting daily care tasks such as light housekeeping related to care and meal preparation.
• Assisting with meal service and feeding when needed.
• Offering companionship and emotional support while encouraging client independence.
• Monitoring clients for changes in condition and reporting concerns promptly to nursing or supervisory staff.
• Identifying and reporting safety risks or environmental concerns.
