Comfort Keepers is hiring a part-time CNA/Caregiver in the Maple Lake area to help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home. The role includes ADL support, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, meal prep, and companionship, with documentation of care.

Pay starts at $18/hour, increasing to $20/hour for CNAs; opportunities for free CNA classes after 5 months. Flexible scheduling includes weekends and holidays, and both part-time and full-time hours are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in a caregiving role.
• Must be available every other weekend and holiday.
• 21 years of age.
• Own reliable transportation and clean driving record.

Responsabilités

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living.
• Provide hands-on personal cares including dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene.
• Light housekeeping such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with mobility and use of transfer tools/equipment.
• Assist with medication and dementia/alzheimer's care.
• Document shifts and cares electronically.

Comfort Keepers is now hiring a part time CNA/Caregiver in the Maple Lake area!

Wage begins at $18 an hour unless Certified Nursing Assistant then $20 an hour. Eligible after 5 months of employment for free CNA classes with Scrubs Academy.

Part time and full-time hours available depending on your availability.

About the Job

As an in-home caregiver, you will clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Responsibilities may include:

• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living.
• Hands-on personal cares may include assistance with dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene.
• Light housekeeping includes cleaning bathroom, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, linen change, vacuuming, laundry, garbage etc.
• Meal planning, cooking and baking.
• Conversation and companionship.
• Interactive Caregiving.
• Assistance with mobility that may include use of transfer tools/equipment.
• Assistance with medication.
• Dementia or Alzheimer’s care.
• Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed.
• Provide proper electronic documentation of shift as well as cares.

Comfort Keepers Requirements

• Experience in a caregiving role.
• Must be available every other weekend and holiday.
• 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Own reliable transportation, clean driving record, 3 years driving experience.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance and comfortable driving.
• DHS and driving record background clearance.
• Customer Service Excellence, Professional Boundaries required.
