Comfort Keepers is seeking an in-home health aide for the Howard Lake area. Wage starts at $18 per hour, with $20 per hour for Certified Nursing Assistants. Part-time and full-time hours are available based on your availability.

As an in-home caregiver, you’ll help clients remain safe, comfortable and independent at home, performing tasks from daily living assistance to companionship and light housekeeping. Training and CNA options are provided.

Formación

• Experience in a caregiving role.
• Must be available every other weekend and holiday.
• 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Own reliable transportation, clean driving record, 3 years driving experience.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance and comfortable driving.
• DHS and driving record background clearance.
• Customer Service Excellence, Professional Boundaries required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living.
• Provide personal care including dressing, grooming, incontinence, hygiene.
• Light housekeeping: bathrooms, living areas, kitchens, laundry, etc.
• Meal planning, cooking and baking.
• Offer conversation and companionship.
• Provide Interactive Caregiving.
• Assist with mobility using transfer tools/equipment.
• Assist with medication management.
• Dementia or Alzheimer’s care.
• Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed.
• Document shifts and cares electronically.

Comfort Keepers is now hiring an in home health aide in the Howard Lake area!

Wage begins at $18 an hour unless Certified Nursing Assistant then $20 an hour. Eligible after 5 months of employment for free CNA classes with Scrubs Academy.

Part time and full-time hours available depending on your availability.

About The Job

As an in-home caregiver, you will clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Responsibilities may include:

• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living.
• Hands-on personal cares may include assistance with dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene.
• Light housekeeping includes cleaning bathroom, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, linen change, vacuuming, laundry, garbage etc.
• Meal planning, cooking and baking.
• Conversation and companionship.
• Interactive Caregiving.
• Assistance with mobility that may include use of transfer tools/equipment.
• Assistance with medication.
• Dementia or Alzheimer’s care.
• Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed.
• Provide proper electronic documentation of shift as well as cares.
