Comfort Keepers is hiring a part-time in-home CNA for the Brainerd area. Wage starts at $18 per hour; Certified Nursing Assistants earn $20 per hour. Eligible after 5 months for free CNA classes with Scrubs Academy.

Part-time and full-time hours available based on your availability. As an in-home caregiver, you will help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, mobility, meal planning, light housekeeping, companionship,

Competenze

• Experience in a caregiving role.
• Must be available every other weekend and holiday.
• 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Own reliable transportation with clean driving record and at least 3 years driving experience.
• DHS and driving record background clearance.
• Customer Service Excellence and professional boundaries required.

Mansioni

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living.
• Provide hands-on personal cares as needed.
• Light housekeeping in client home (bathrooms, living areas, kitchens, laundry, etc.).
• Meal planning, cooking and baking for clients.
• Provide conversation and companionship.

About the Job

As an in-home caregiver, you will clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Responsibilities may include:

• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living.
• Hands-on personal cares may include assistance with dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene.
• Light housekeeping includes cleaning bathroom, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, linen change, vacuuming, laundry, garbage etc.
• Meal planning, cooking and baking.
• Conversation and companionship.
• Interactive Caregiving.
• Assistance with mobility that may include use of transfer tools/equipment.
• Assistance with medication.
• Dementia or Alzheimer’s care.
• Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed.
• Provide proper electronic documentation of shift as well as cares.

Comfort Keepers Requirements

• Experience in a caregiving role.

• Own reliable transportation, clean driving record, 3 years driving experience.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance and comfortable driving.
• DHS and driving record background clearance.
• Customer Service Excellence, Professional Boundaries required.
