Job summary

Comfort Keepers is hiring a part-time in-home CNA for the Brainerd area. Wage starts at $18 per hour; Certified Nursing Assistants earn $20 per hour. Eligible after 5 months for free CNA classes with Scrubs Academy.

Part-time and full-time hours available based on your availability. As an in-home caregiver, you will help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, mobility, meal planning, light housekeeping, companionship,

Qualifications

Experience in a caregiving role.
Must be available every other weekend and holiday.
21 years of age or older.
High School Diploma or GED.
Own reliable transportation with clean driving record and at least 3 years driving experience.
DHS and driving record background clearance.
Customer Service Excellence and professional boundaries required.

Responsibilities

Assist with Activities of Daily Living.
Provide hands-on personal cares as needed.
Light housekeeping in client home (bathrooms, living areas, kitchens, laundry, etc.).
Meal planning, cooking and baking for clients.
Provide conversation and companionship.
Assist with mobility and use transfer tools/equipment.
Assist with medications as directed.
Dementia or Alzheimer’s care as needed.
