Job summary

Comfort Keepers is hiring an in-home CNA to serve the Cokato/Howard Lake area. Wage starts at $18/hour, with $20/hour for CNAs. Eligible after 5 months for free CNA classes with Scrubs Academy.

Part-time and full-time hours are available based on your availability. The role involves ensuring clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes with comprehensive personal care and companionship.

Qualifications

• Experience in a caregiving role.
• Must be available every other weekend and holiday.
• 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Own reliable transportation, clean driving record, 3 years driving experience.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance and comfortable driving.
• DHS and driving record background clearance.
• Customer Service Excellence, Professional Boundaries required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living.
• Provide hands-on personal care: dressing, grooming, incontinence, hygiene.
• Light housekeeping: bathroom, living areas, kitchens, laundry, etc.
• Meal planning, cooking and baking.
• Provide conversation and companionship.
• Engage in interactive caregiving.
• Assist with mobility and use of transfer tools/equipment.
• Assist with medication management.
• Dementia or Alzheimer’s care as needed.
• Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed.
• Provide proper electronic documentation of shift and cares.

• Hands‑on personal cares may include assistance with dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene.
