Job summary

Down To Earth Cuisine in San Diego is seeking an experienced personal chef for a Monday–Friday daytime schedule (8 AM–6 PM), offering 15–25 hours per week. You will design weekly menus, shop for ingredients at local markets, and cook meals in clients' homes, leaving kitchens clean and reporting progress.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of professional cooking experience (3–4 years with strong training), formal culinary training, and excellent client-facing communication.

Down To Earth Cuisine is a personal chef service built around a simple idea: great food shouldn't require a restaurant grind. We're expanding our San Diego team and looking for an experienced chef who wants a Monday–Friday, daytime schedule instead of nights, weekends, and holidays.
