Job summary

PALS OHIO, LLC. is seeking an In-Home Care Specialist to provide hands-on support and supervision for adults with developmental disabilities in home and community settings.

You will implement individualized service plans, assist with daily living activities, and participate in ongoing training to ensure high-quality, person-centered care. A valid Ohio driver’s license and current CPR/First Aid certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School diploma or GED.
• Current Ohio Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Criminal Background verification with acceptable clearance.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and provide supervision and assistance to adults with developmental disabilities.
• Ability to work as a team member and communicate effectively with persons served and staff.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience or working with individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Safely provide transportation as needed.
• Provide direct supervision and support to individuals served.
• Document transportation, billing, and program activities.
• Attend regular staff meetings and contribute to a supportive environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and people-first language; adhere to company guidelines.
• Maintain current CPR, First Aid, Crisis Intervention, and other required trainings.
