Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare seeks compassionate Registered Nurses for in-home health care as 1099 Independent Contractors. You will visit patients at home, provide holistic care, education, and emotional support, and coordinate with care teams. A flexible, independent environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of practice.
• Willingness to travel to patients' homes.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to pass state and federal background checks.
• Professional liability insurance is required.
• Strong problem-solving and empathetic approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and deliver personalized home care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and prevention.
• Assist with ADLs with dignity and respect.
• Coordinate care with patients and plan of care.
• Monitor symptoms and report changes promptly.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document in EMR.
• Collaborate with Case Managers and physicians to ensure unified care.
• Maintain accurate patient logs and care journey notes.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
