Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our team as in-home health care RNs working as 1099 independent contractors. This role involves traveling to patients’ homes, providing holistic, compassionate care, and documenting care in our EMR system.

Strong communication and empathy are essential. The position requires an active RN license, willingness to travel, and completion of a background check.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS Certification required.
• Willingness to travel to patients’ homes.
• Ability to pass a state and federal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assess and chart observations at each home visit.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and prevention.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed.
• Coordinate schedules with patients and care teams.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation in EMR.
