United Energy Workers Healthcare (UEW Health) is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to join as 1099 Independent Contractors, delivering in-home care to energy workers and families. You will conduct assessments, educate families, assist with ADLs, and coordinate with the care team in a flexible, independent role.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, are willing to travel, and have a current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the relevant state
• Willing to travel to patient homes
• Current BLS certification is required
• Ability to pass state and federal background checks
• Professional liability insurance is required
• Strong problem-solving and empathetic patient care approach

Responsabilités

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and tailor care plans
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) in home settings with dignity
• Coordinate scheduling with patients according to plan of care and preferences
• Monitor patient symptoms and promptly report changes to care team
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Communicate effectively with Case Managers and collaborating physicians
• Maintain accurate and compassionate patient documentation in the EMR
• Provide emotional support to patients and families to foster trust
